We stringently separate garments to prevent damage to the colour and texture of your clothes. Where possible we match or replace missing buttons and restitch partially fallen hems all at no extra cost.Our strictly applied quality control standards produce superior levels of customer satisfaction. Same Day Service

At City Drycleaners we understand that you lead very busy lives and that sometimes we do leave important things to the last minute.We are the only drycleaners who will go the extra mile to provide you with a Same Day Service for your last minute or urgent drycleaning needs.There is no extra charge for this great service but please make sure you have your garments into us before 10.00am!Please note that some delicate fabrics and hard to remove stains may require more than a same day service to achieve optimum results.

Bridal

Whether for nostalgia, or to preserve the legacy for future generations, City Drycleaners ensure your wedding gown is carefully restored and preserved.Our specialist service includes meticulous, hand-finished cleaning and pressing with our renowned attention to detail. Finally your gown can be carefully wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and elegantly placed in a purpose designed protective box for storage and preservation.Gowns are priced on inspection relative to the degree of complexity of cleaning and embellishments.

Alterations

With over 40 years experience Maria, our inhouse tailor, always provides a superior service at very competitive prices. Visit Maria for a full fitting service and to discuss your requirements.City Drycleaners are able to provide a full in-house tailoring service to suit your individual needs. We offer a range of alterations services and repairs to garments. Including Zip repairs, trouser alterations, cuff alterations, relining of jackets, skirts and trousers. We use and recommend the best in the industry.European Leather Care specialise in the restoration, re-colouring and cleaning of all leather. Having the latest leather repair technology, they are able to offer the best repair or restoration solution, tailored for each individual case.All leather jackets and bags can be sent to European Leather care on your behalf for an obligation free quote through City Drycleaners.

From bedding and table linen to cushions and furniture covers, City Drycleaners will ensure your home furnishings are well cared for.Special attention is paid to embroidery, lace trims, scalloped edges, delicate quilting and buttons. Our attention to detail extends to the removal of delicate buttons prior to cleaning to ensure they are not damaged and hand-finishing of all items.

* Prices are indicative only and are subject to change according to garment type and condition.* A minimum $5 charge will apply for particularly hard to remove stains or for certain delicate fabrics, such as silk, which require extra care and may need to be processed separately to other garments.* A $10 per garment charge to delint and remove pet fur or other hair.Care Labels are a legal requirement in New Zealand and should never be removed. We will process all garments as per the manufacturers requirements. City Drycleaners will not be held accountable for incorrect information provided by the garment manufacturer. If the care label is missing we will process the garment however we will accept no liability whatsoever.

Terms & Conditions

1. No responsibility will be accepted for damage due to faulty material, loose buttons, faulty zips, flaws, wear and tear, stains that the normal dry cleaning process will not remove, pre-existing damage, defects, colour leakage, and damage caused from items such as pens, tissues, cosmetics etc left in your garment pockets or linings.2. Garments must be collected within three months. After this period we reserve the right to sell garments to recover part or all of the costs incurred.3. All claims must be made in writing on the claim form provided by City Drycleaners.4. Corporate discounts do not apply to repairs, outwork, or an of our agencies.5. In the unlikely event of loss or damage, if found to be at fault, City Drycleaners will compensate the purchase amount less depreciation based on age and condition of the garment (generally 20% per year of age). In the event of loss, proof of purchase or evidence such as photographs must be supplied.

For your convenience we have more than 15 Service Agents located around the city and suburbs who are more than happy to look after your dry cleaning needs. There's no need to worry about pick up and delivery times, whether you're in or away from the office, or how to pay.All you need to do is drop off your garments before 9am, and pick them up the same day after 4 pm.
